1. Information We Collect & Storage

• Authentication Data: User authentication is managed via Clerk (email address, Google OAuth profile details). Clerk securely stores your authentication credentials and account identifier.
• Career Profile Data: Your profile details—including your full name, target job role, years of experience, skill portfolio, location preferences, and target salary expectations—are stored securely in our Supabase PostgreSQL database (hosted on Supabase.co).
• Application Tracking & Career History: Saved job descriptions, job applications, interview outcomes, and recorded career events are persisted in Supabase to maintain your continuous Career Memory.
• Resume Processing: When you upload a resume, file contents are extracted and processed server-side. The original resume file is not permanently stored on our servers; extracted text is parsed for analysis and may be cached temporarily during active use.
• Payment Information: Subscription and credit payments are securely processed by Razorpay. We do not collect, process, or store credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking credentials on our servers.

2. AI Processing & Third-Party LLMs

To provide match scoring, skill gap analysis, and tailored career recommendations, resume text and job descriptions are transmitted server-side to third-party AI APIs, including:

• Google Gemini API
• Groq LLMs
• OpenAI (GPT-4o)

Zero AI Training Commitment: None of our third-party AI service providers retain or utilize your personal data, uploaded resumes, or job descriptions to train their proprietary AI or foundational models.

3. Caching, Analytics & Monitoring

• Performance Caching: Non-persistent analysis results and session states may be cached in Upstash Redis for performance optimization (with a 5-minute time-to-live / TTL).
• Web Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated page view and visitor telemetry to optimize platform performance.
• Error Monitoring: We utilize Sentry for real-time error tracking and crash diagnostics to maintain platform reliability.

4. Data Ownership & Deletion

You retain full ownership of all data submitted to JobMatchAI.

Clear Memory: You can delete all your career memory, profile information, skills, and tracked job records at any time with a single click using the 'Clear Memory' button in your Career Profile. You may also contact us to request complete account deletion.

5. No Sale of Personal Data

We never sell, rent, or commercialize your personal data, resume information, or career records to third parties, recruiters, or advertisers under any circumstances.
